Points, Lines, and Planes
Problem:
Create a case study of a structure in Downtown Bryan, Texas. Focus on points, lines, and planes and how they relate to the space.
Solution:
Take all exterior openings (doors, windows, etc.) and extrude them as volumetric shapes. By extruding these shapes, they take on the form of three dimensional lines. Where these volumes intersect, they create points that can be used as points of interest when evaluating ideas for the remodel of the space.

Four Element Dance Floor
Individual Project, Fall 2007
Problem:
Design an architectural detail of an abandoned structure with the intent of bringing life back to a dessicated area of Downtown Bryan, Texas.
Solution:
The architectural detail chosen for revamping the space is the floor. It will be redesigned with a dance club intent allowing college students to flock to the area on weekends. The club will offer a Zen vibe by exhibiting the four elements of the earth: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. Variation in levels and the use of realistic materials will create a unique space for dancers to experience the elements.
